Quarrels and Quills

We have moved the site to vBulletin. This is our archive of the phpbb site. If you are coming here for anything other then looking at our history, you need to go here to the live site instead.

And register! We always need new members and would really like to hear from everyone that visits.

Quarrels and Quills will be undergoing an upgrade this weekend. We will be migrating from phpbb3 to vBulletin 4. I will also be performing some additional server maintenance at the same time. The site will be down during this process. Please check the site periodically for updates.

Are you the administrator of another roleplaying site and ready to stop? We would be pleased to add your games and your members to our own.

We will set up a forum that you will be the GM over that forum. You’ll have moderation power over the forum. If you want more moderators, then you can have others be listed as GMs. In addition subforums can be made within the forum. In addition to the moderators you set up, the Quarrels and Quills moderators will also be able to moderate posts as well.

Depending on your current site, we might be able to set up an archive like we have for our past as Comic Book Review or we might be able to add the actual posts and users directly from your site.

Quarrels and Quills is interested in expanding our membership and the number of stories being told on our site.

Do you have a setting in mind that you think would be a great place to write in? Its very easy to have a setting at Quarrels and Quills. You just need to follow the instructions and post a description in this thread.

The requirements for starting your own setting is 100 posts on Quarrels and Quills. Exceptions can be made. One of them is pointing us to your profile on another site. The reason for this requirement is that we do not want to start a forum for someone that is going to disappear in a week.

If you do not have 100 posts and do not want to link to a profile, you can still start a setting here at Quarrels and Quills. You can start the setting in the Adventures’ Guild. Once the setting is established and the story has progressed, a new forum will be created and the thread moved into it. Anyone can start a setting in the Guild.

If you are moving an existing setting to the site, let us know in the thread.

I have just finished migrating Quarrels and Quills to a new, more powerful, server. The cost per month is approximately the same. Hopefully, though, with the newer server, we will gain additional stability and performance. If you notice any issues at all, please let me know right away so I can look into it.
